Our process begins by taking your images or videos and manipulating them with photo and video editing tools to produce the highest image quality possible. This may include Color Enhancement, Red Eye correction, minor scratch and discoloration removal and cropping or resizing. We then assemble your images in a video editing suite, create titles and animations, and synchronize them to music to complement your project tone for the maximum emotional impact! Once you have approved the "Rough Cut" we will transfer your project onto a high quality DVD-R and create custom artwork for your case and disc to give your project a professional and "Retail" production quality. We generally require 2-3 weeks to complete most projects from the time we receieve all of your materials. This time frame is necessary to ensure ample time for all processing and to account for any changes that may be needed. Prior to completion we will provide you with a link to view your "Rough Cut" layout on our website. Once you have approved of this first edit we will be able to finish the editing and complete your project. You can send us any type of photos. Digital photos are naturally faster to work with and need to be submitted as .jpg files. Digital photos also generally have the highest playback quality, but we can easily scan your old Hard copy photos in a very high resolution and even scan your photo slides. After scanning, we will include a CD with all of your scans as .jpg files Free of Charge. Please see “Pricing Add-ons” page for more details. Since all of our packages include opening titles and ending credits we consider “Titles” to be scene or chapter specific titles. Perhaps you want to segment your story into four events. At the start of each event you may want to have a “Title” page all it’s own to break up the story or in between songs. Captions, on the other hand, are words or phrases or even inside jokes that you may want to add to a specific photo. For example: You may have a funny nickname that you call your son and just when the photo appears you might want to share that nickname in a cute way such as having a “Thought” bubble appear briefly onscreen. There are many styles of captioning for you to choose and it all adds up to make the experience more enjoyable for everyone. By default all of our montages are made using a simple cross-dissolve type transition. What this means is that when one photo finishes being displayed it will fade out simultaneously with another photo fading in. In most cases this smooth transition is a perfect fit to any wedding video or photo presentation. For those inclined to something a bit more flashy and stylish we offer several 3D style transitions that will make photos jump onto the screen, explode off of the screen or even tear away like a page being turned to reveal a new photo underneath! We have over 200 styles of transitions that will suit almost any type of music and presentation! Using CGI graphics combined with green screen or matte editing effects, we can combine your photo or video into a breathtaking animation at the beginning or ending of your project. Imagine watching a virtual Wedding Album open up and display a front page that will zoom in to a picture or movie from your wedding! We strive to produce the highest quality DVDs for our customers and use Pioneer Certified Class A DVD-R media. We have tested our media on several brands of players including Toshiba, Sony and even video game console players such as the Xbox360. When using newer technology such as recordable DVD, the newer your player - the more compatible it will be. This is due to the fact that consumer DVD media was not in production during the release of many older generation DVD players. Therefore, we can not guarantee 100% playback for all players on the market. If ever you have a problem with one of our DVDs, we will be happy to recreate your project on a different media type at no charge. We will also recommend that you try the disc on a newer player as well. For more info on your players compatability go to videohelp and search for your players model number and media type DVD-R. If you are still concerned about playback we will be happy to mail out a sample DVD for you to try before you make your purchase. We can work with you no matter where you live. If you can’t meet with us one-on-one, then we will be happy to consult with you over the phone and via email. Any products that you purchase from us will be mailed, certified and insured. Since nearly all music is copyrighted, you must first obtain the proper rights and permission to use the music that you want in your presentation. We also stock several royalty-free music selections for you at no additional charge.
